This evening we had the welcome southerly change to cool conditions down for the start of the run.
We had 35 starters, which was a very good turnout given the end of year school functions.
7 personal best times were recorded. It is great to see the very young competitors such as Riley Beby (pictured with his family Mitchell, Michelle, Ashley and Dad Daniel and Kyle and Jarrod Young) and Katie McDonald record personal best times in the 2 kilometres.
It was pleasing to see Robert Beardsmore return to the fold after an absence of over 5 years. The Beardsmore family now live in England and are on holidays in Broulee.
Before leaving Australia Robert had completed 15 runs with a personal best time in the 5 kilometres of 19 minutes 49 seconds. (Pictured is Robert and family).
The Broulee runners will be held every Wednesday evening straight through the holiday period. So during and after all the holiday festivities come along and throw some excercise into the mix. See you all next Wednesday at 5pm, everyone welcome.
