22 February 2017

Strong north easterly winds made the 54 starters bend their back on the return journey in this evening’s run. Although, not ideal conditions K A Whyte, Jenni Kew and Dylan Holmes recorded impressive personal best times.

We had a number of runners backing up from the Huskie Triathlon series held last weekend.  Dan Lloyd-Jones ran an excellent time and won his event comfortably.
Paul and Maureen Searson won medals in their division.  Others to perform well were Adrian Connor, Stella and Monty Lloyd-Jones and Gary Ashton.

We welcomed the Johnson family to their first outing this evening. Although, the younger members were carried to the line, this experience will help them in a few short years to enjoy the thrill of competing against their mates.

See you all next week at 5pm.
