The cool change helped the 59 starters in this evening’s run to record excellent times.

Personal best time were recorded by Mollie and Katie Kennedy, Nina McLachlan. Declan McPherson, Harry Leach, Poppy Mitchell, Emersyn and Taryn Carver, Graeme Hincksman, and Gabby Golds.

We had visitors from Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Griffith.

The very young can achieve with a little help from their mother.  Nina McPherson was carried and assisted to achieve her 30th appearance at the run. There is always great joy and excitement when the little ones run that last ten metres of the event.  Nina was very proud of herself in her 30- run shirt.

The highlight of the evening was Jo Flood recording her 100th run.  Her first run was on 31 October 2012 and her time then was 25.54. Her personal best is now 21.35 and this is the best time for a local female athlete. Jo is the mother of four children and she with husband Greg are great supporters of the event. The family has clocked up over 450 runs between them all. Youngest son Rhys is undergoing special coaching and is showing promise as an outstanding steeple chase runner.
