Good conditions for the 69 starters in this evening’s run. We had visitors from Melbourne, Goulburn, Tasmania and Canberra.
The 5 kilometres was the feature event with 20 starters in a quality field. Daniel Beby once again showed his class in a quality time of 18.29. Seven women contested this event and Tess Aungles from Canberra outpaced local champion Jo Flood by 29 seconds.
It is great to see visitors coming to this event and also the Batemans Bay Park run. We may soon become the desired location for runners to holiday.
