The welcome southerly change after a very hot day encouraged 52 people to come to the first run after the end of daylight saving.
There were 11 personal best times and we welcomed Jalessa Smith, Tayah Hancock and Damia O’Loughlin for their first run with the group.
Rachael Wade received her thirty run shirt this evening. She is the fourth member of her family to receive this well-deserved reward for her incredible effort.
Rachael was injured in a serious car accident last May and spent considerable time in Canberra Hospital. She undertook extensive rehabilitation before she could walk unassisted. She is an inspiration to all who know her and particularly her family.
