The rain held off for this first run in Summertime (5PMstart) and it attracted a field of 56 runners/walkers.  We welcomed several visitors and particularly a group from Sydney namely Hugo and Freddy Gledhill, Alex Gibbons, Adele Sutton, and Liam Allen.  We were pleased Jean Cram a local complete her first event by walking the 2-kilometres.  It is hoped that this will be the first of many appearances.

 

Samson Kennedy broke the course record in the 3-kilometres, which he currently holds by 34 seconds.

 

In the 2-kilometres personal best times were recorded by Benji and Neil S Mackay, Poppy Melgaard, Max Gunn, Emma Kennedy, David McCann, and Gill Stapleton.  Special mention to Lewis Gunn who equalled his PB over this distance.  In the 3-kilometres PBs were recorded by Samson and Anthony Kennedy, as well as Tommy Dullard.  In the 4-kilometres Nuno Goncalves improved his previous time by a whopping 112 seconds.
