8 January 2020

From the ashes emerged the valiant district runners, who want to handle the stress of the disaster by participating in this evening Broulee run.  It gave people an opportunity to socialise and talk about normal activities.

We welcomed two new members of the Seidel family in Bethany and Emilia.  This means the running Seidels have a total of 4 Broulee runners in the family.

Although, personal best times were not on peoples’ minds this evening.  Rosie and Kelly McPartland put the ash and smoke behind them and recorded excellent PBs in the 2 kilometres.

The star of the night was Yma, who recorded her 30thrun and was awarded her shirt.  She was very excited and now joins her husband Garren, who has 35 runs to his credit.

  1. Good turn-out given the fire threats. How is everyone? Mike are you all OK?
