Ideal conditions drew an excellent number of starters to the last run for the summer school holidays. There were visitors from Melbourne and Canberra.

  

Personal best times were recorded by Harry Boyd, Renee Carver, Maureen Searson, Lisa Dixon, Glenn Blunt and Louise Cox.

The bulk of the 64 starters are young children, who show great enthusiasm and excitement with their performance. This is infectious as it involves the parents and of course encourages their friends to join in the event.

On 8 February, we will celebrate ten years of the event, which started on 7 February 2007 with 8 starters over the 5-kilometre distance. The event has flourished with the generous support of the Tomakin Sports and Social Club, who supplied the multi-timer recorder that allows us to handle the large numbers of participants. Damien and Judy Kennedy generously supply the Broulee runner shirts that are awarded to those completing 30 runs. Thanks to both parties for encouraging such a wonderful community event.
