Strong cold southerly winds did not deter 43 people from fronting the starter this evening. We had 5 visitors and one new local join us and 10 personal best times were recorded.
There was strong competition in the 5 kilometres event with Scott Carver, Jo and Greg Flood recording impressive personal best times. The star of the event was Scott, who knocked off 18 seconds to record a time of 19 minutes & 22 seconds. He has entered the Coolangatta Gold, which is to be held in November. Running is one of the 4 disciplines in the event.
