As we lined up to start this weeks run we could hear the rumblings of thunder in the distance. Fingers crossed we all hoped the storm would bypass Broulee and stay dry for the duration of the event. However after we started the sky's opened up and we had quite a steady rainfall. Considering the conditions some great results and fantastic turnout of competitors.

With the upcoming Batemans Bay triathlon and all the local school cross countries about to begin. Why not come along next Wednesday and get in a bit more training. We are a friendly social group, don't be scared to come along and introduce yourself, you will be glad you did. See you then.

We celebrated our 7th birthday this week. Firstly completing the run then enjoying a little party and beautiful cake made by Robyn (am sure Mike lent a helping hand). 

There are 3 original runners that ran back in 2007 and are still running all these years later, well done to Mike, Robyn and Liza.

Also congratulations to Justin Loutitt who earnt his running shirt after completing his 30th run.

We had 19 enthusiastic starters this week, and 19 very weary sweaty finishers, well done to you all.

We are celebrating our 7th birthday next Wednesday everyone welcome. We will do the run then come back for a celebration. Bring a plate along and join us.

If you have been thinking about adding a run into your fitness routine please don't hesitate to come up and have a go. You are not competing against anyone else but yourself. You will be timed and then you try and better your time each week. Is a great mix of ages and personalities. Hope to see you next Wednesday.
