After a wild, wet week of rain and wind the weather finally looked a little brighter during the day on Wednesday. With muddy conditions to contend with, 8 competitors turned up with the expectation of a slippery track to overcome and no doubt some dirty muddy shoes to take home. After the start of the event the heavens opened right on cue and a drenched, bedraggled group returned to complete this weeks event. Here's hoping the weather starts to improve before next week.
