Another great turnout this week, we welcomed a few new faces, was great to meet you.

We have a few Broulee locals in training for the Coolangatta Gold which is on later in the year. They are taking advantage of our meet each week to improve their running fitness. Pictured are a few of the competitors from left, Scott Elliott, Gabby Smith and Scott Carver.

Also just a reminder that Batemans Bay is hosting the Mother's Day walk and run this Sunday. The walk is a 4km event and begins at 8am and the 6km run starts at 9am. So go along and support this fun morning out, all proceeds to breast cancer research.

Another large turnout this week with quite a few school kids coming along for some extra practice before their respective cross countries.

A big congratulations firstly to Scott Carver who has been trying to better his 5km PB for some time now, and finally this was his week he came in 7 seconds faster. Also Ruby Connor did a PB of 23 seconds, Leila Patyus did a PB of 55 seconds and Andrew McPherson beat his by 25 seconds. Well done to you all.

A reminder to any of you that are interested, The Mothers Day Classic is on in Batemans Bay on Sunday 11 May. There is a 4km walk and a 6km run all proceeds go to supporting breast cancer research.
