The school cross country attracts lots to come and test themselves out before they tackle their school event. Some of the kids that came along this week are pictured. Goodluck to you all.
Marlin Bayley, Tayah Hancock and Riley Nimmo ran outstanding times over the 2 kilometre distance and this trio will impress in their representative events.
Our Special Olympics representative Carissa Morgan once again improved and recorded another personal best time in the 2 kilometre event.
Just a reminder that the first Batemans bay park run is fast approaching starting on Saturday 7 May meeting at 7.45am for an 8am start. The run is 5km in distance, is free to register, runners and walkers need to bring a 'printed barcode' which you get after registering at (parkrun.com.au). There is a facebook page as well "Batemans Bay parkrun" for any additional information. Go along and support this great community initiative.
See you next week at 4.30pm.
