holiday intervals

Tuesday morning intervals at Captain Oldrey Park for the three of us - even in the midst of Christmas holidays! Focussed is the key word - we worked through Nev's 'drills' and then did an interval session of 10 x 200 metres - consistency being the focus of the session. Finishing off witht he 'plank'. Well done to the determination of those who turned up -

Question of the day - does Ross have a heart rate?

See you all tomorrow at Wednesday's run at the anchor.

Relays usually conjure good thoughts and fun times ........ not the relays that Nev had planned for us at our intervals sessions today. However, we worked hard and managed to work through 6 'relay' sessions.

Nev was kind enough to reward us with chocolate santas :)

tuesday intervals - without nev (again)

Ross said "it was fun" .... I am not so sure.

Why is it that when Nev is unable to make the interval sessions - he sets us quite challenging intervals! Interesting ...... Nev's excuse for today was that he was "helping a friend paint" -

Today's session was a 'pyramid' - of 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 90 seconds, 120 seconds, 90 seconds, 60 seconds, 30 seconds. It was hard work! Plank afterwards .... You'd be proud of our efforts today Nev.

See you all tomorrow night ..........

tuesday interval session - 88% humidity !!

Everyone was feeling great this morning. Was it simply seeing the sun out, or because it's almost Christmas or was it the dynamics of a great group - training session?

This morning it was drills followed by our 5 x 90 second session. Nev commented that we are all running well and have improved.

See you all next week.
